Among the 31 participants in the competition from Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Hamburg, the startup Aparkado came out on top with its pitch. For the Hamburg region, Katharina Kreutzer, the co-founder of Boomerang, convinced the jury with her pitch.

Boomerang wants to tackle the problem of packaging waste in online trade and replace disposable cartons with a reusable system for shipping goods. In the other regions, Wirelane and Avocargo won the title of regional champ. The special prize was won by the Munich-based start-up

The winners were chosen by a jury of four experts. The finalists were selected in an open vote by the community. People voted for one startup each via the website. The three with the most votes from Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Munich were invited to pitch in Hamburg for the final.
