This latest platform serves as a digital, single point of contact for Hamburg's start-up ecosystem and raises the city’s visibility as a centre of start-ups nationally and on a global scale. The platform is the result of a joint initiative by the Ministry of Economics and Innovation, Hamburg Innovation, Hamburg Invest, Hamburg Marketing GmbH and the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit).

Platform facilitates investor settlement

Michael Westhagemann, Senator for Economics, remarked: "We and our partners, have developed a great online platform for start-ups which maps their entire ecosystem. The stakeholders can use it to network even better. The platform  should make it easier for national and international start-ups and investors to settle in Hamburg. I am delighted that we have been able to implement a key measure in the coalition agreement to promote Hamburg as a centre of start-ups and innovation."
